Job Description
- Support deliveries of all models through domestic and international travel.
- Assist COR Management with scheduling functions as necessary.
- Train and mentor new COR team members to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness within the organization.
- Carry out any special product support assignments to aid the company in maintaining industry standard customer satisfaction.
- Maintain effective communications through which technical information related to maintenance and operational problems is shared with all support group personnel (this being, but not limited to; Tech.Ops, Service and Completions Engineering, Reliability, Maintainability, Spares, Field Based Reps., CMP, Service Center and Completion Center) and customers.
- Keep current on Gulfstream Product Support, which includes: Service Centers, Warranty Facilities, F.A.S.T. Support, Product Support Sales, and Gulfstream policy changes affecting the customer’s operations.
- Assist with Customer Operational Readiness Evaluation (CORE) when required.
- Perform interim duties and additional functions as Field Service Representative as and when required. .
- Assist in development of new and improved departmental policies and procedures. .
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant License preferred.
- An A&P license and four (4) years of aviation maintenance experience in addition to the current experience requirements may offset the Bachelor’s degree.
- Formal training in the Gulfstream product line maintenance procedures and practices preferred. to include Flight Safety Maintenance Initial training for all current Gulfstream models.
- Knowledge of all Gulfstream support departments (including but not limited to: Spares, Warranty, Publications, Technical Services, Service Centers, Warranty Facilities and Field Service).
- Experience as technician or mechanic at a Gulfstream or Gulfstream approved warranty facility preferred.
- Capable of frequent domestic and international travel, often on short notice.
- Strong computer skills for reporting purposes and for maintenance diagnostic purposes.
