What are the responsibilities and job description for the Territory Manager position at Gustave A. Larson?
Primary Responsibilities
- Account Engagement: Regularly engage with assigned customer accounts to understand their needs to be able to maintain and grow their accounts.
- Sales and Revenue Generation: Execute a territory sales plan to achieve revenue and market share targets within the assigned market.
- Dealer Acquisition: Prospect and engage with potential customers within the territory to expand and grow market share and secure new business opportunities.
- Customer Development: Identify key business development opportunities within a customer's business to help them achieve their revenue and profitability goals.
- Customer Relationship: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers through visits, meetings, and presentations to promote products and address concerns.
- Team Collaboration: Partners with the Account Manager and Store(s) to ensure a seamless transition of service for customers.
As part of our total compensation package, this role is eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan, paid monthly, a Company paid cell phone, auto-allowance, business and travel expense reimbursement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Previous HVAC experience highly preferred but not required.
- Proven track record of success in business development and/or HVAC/R sales
- Microsoft Office skills required.
- Ability to travel up to 70% of the time within the assigned territory.
