What it is like to Work with Gusto
Here’s what you’ll do day-to-day:
- You’ll flex your HR knowledge by answering a wide variety of questions while educating Gusties on how to find similar information in the future. For questions that require a second opinion, you’ll collaborate with other members of the People Team to deliver 5-star support.
- Ensure our people data is updated in real time throughout the entire Gustie journey (onboarding to offboarding, and everything in between).
- Triage and answer incoming requests related to job and org. changes, employee data, benefits, compensation, employment verification, etc.
- Partner closely with members of the People Team to reduce inefficiencies in our HR processes.
- Keep Gusties informed by creating and maintaining parts of our internal wiki, ensuring FAQ content is up-to-date easily accessible.
Here’s what we're looking for:
- At least 1 - 2 years experience as a HR Generalist (or similar role) and have experience contributing to company growth through HRIS processing.
- Organized, efficient and able to prioritize effectively. You enjoy checking things off your to-do list and brainstorming ways in which to become more efficient.
- A keen eye for detail. You're always double checking things to ensure the utmost accuracy.
- Polished communication and enjoy collaborating with others. You'll be handling sensitive information to reflect meaningful events in Gusties’ lives (starting a new position, transferring internally, receiving a promotion, taking parental leave, etc).
Our cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $65,000 - $77,000/year in Denver & most remote locations, and $81,000 - $97,000/year for San Francisco & New York.
