What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Manager position at GVH Distribution?
Join the fastest growing grocery and foodservice packaging and supplies program company in the country. GVH Distribution Midwest is looking for a highly motivated individual to build and maintain a strong relationship with our customers while increasing sales in the territory. The prospective team member will provide solutions for our customers, add value and have excellent follow up skills.
The starting salary for this position is between $50,000- $60,000, plus a quarterly bonus and opportunity to participate in the company profit sharing program!
Primary territory is the Southern WI market and Northern Chicagoland area.
Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
- Visiting all the stores in the designated area and selling new accounts and identifying new opportunities and following up with contacts.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction concerning sales of any and all company products and/or services
- Maintain an accurate customer account list and remain in constant contact with established customers
- Maintaining or exceeding assigned sales volume and profit margin and keeping up to date with changes in the industry.
- Providing weekly schedules with specific customers visited
- Develop new sales strategies and promote the sales of GVH Distribution
Qualifications and skills:
- College degree in business or sales
- 3-5 years of grocery packaging sales experience preferred
- Ability to understand the needs of business accounts through conversational interaction and converting those needs into sales
- Maintains a well-groomed appearance as appropriate for the position
Requirements:
- 18 years or older
- Valid driver's License
- High School Diploma. Bachelor's Degree preferred
