Job Description:
The Group Instructor will lead classes focusing on total body, strength, and mobility for Senior residents at various recreational centers. As a GYMGUYZ Group Instructor, you will provide professional instruction for each class, ensuring the highest level of customer service. You must be adaptable to various fitness levels and able to modify class instruction to create a safe, fun, and encouraging experience. You must also be flexible traveling to various locations.

The Group Instructor will lead classes focusing on total body, strength, and mobility for Senior residents at various recreational centers. As a GYMGUYZ Group Instructor, you will provide professional instruction for each class, ensuring the highest level of customer service. You must be adaptable to various fitness levels and able to modify class instruction to create a safe, fun, and encouraging experience. You must also be flexible traveling to various locations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site group classes to senior participants of various fitness levels and goals.
- Create personalized exercise programs tailored to each participant’s needs and preferences.
- Conduct orientation for first time attendees and assess their fitness capacity.
- Ensure participants safety and provide ongoing motivation and support.
- Educate participants about proper exercise techniques and the importance of a healthy lifestyle.
- Collect feedback and track attendance for every session.
- Travel to and from group training sites.
- Attend monthly team meetings.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Nationally recognized Personal Training or Group Instructor certification preferably from NASM
- CPR/AED certification preferably from American Heart Association
- Previous experience working with the senior population.
- Demonstrated knowledge of exercise physiology, anatomy, and nutrition.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours.
- Comfortable floating to multiple sites to cover classes as needed.
- Team player or collaborative with others.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Schedule:
The schedule is flexible according to location preferences, but it will be based on the hours below.

- Mondays - 8:00AM to 3:00PM
- Wednesdays - 8:00AM to 3:00PM
- Fridays - 8:00AM to 3:00PM
