What are the responsibilities and job description for the Entry Level Human Resources Coordinator position at GZA?
GZA is seeking a Coordinator to work with our Human Resources (HR) team. The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and will be willing to learn the vital functions of Recruiting and Human Resources. This position will work on a variety of projects in HR: assisting with onboarding and offboarding employees, conducting background checks, developing company-wide communications, and assisting with employee benefits enrollments. This person will be an integral part of GZA’s HR team, assisting with various company initiatives and projects. The position will be based in GZA’s Norwood office 3-4 days per week with 1-2 days remote, depending on workload.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to Human Resources team
- Work with HR team for onboarding new employees
- Process background checks and motor vehicle reports for employees
- Schedule medical monitoring appointments for employees
- Develop monthly Wellness topics and articles for company-wide distribution on HubSpot
- Assist with processing and analyzing HR reports using UKG Ultipro
- Assist with event planning, i.e. career fairs and team-building events
- Assist HR department in special projects as needed, e.g. initiate new ideas and suggestions for recruiting, building culture and brand awareness, etc.

- Must be able to draft error-free documents in MS Word
- Must be able to develop and maintain spreadsheets in MS Excel.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or Liberal Arts, or equivalent work experience.
- At least one internship in the human resources/recruiting field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
