IT Help Desk Administrator
We are H Mart, the largest Asian supermarket chain in America. Starting in 1982 with a single store in Woodside, Queens, H Mart has grown to include more than 70 stores across the United States. H Mart offers a full line of Asian foods as well as a broad range of Western groceries to complement its full scale offering to that of a traditional supermarket. H Mart is also known for its innovative new food halls which are an extension of over 40 years of providing eateries in its stores.
Main duties of an IT Help Desk Admin includes (but are not limited to):
- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
- Maintain daily performance of computer systems.
- Walk customer through problem-solving process.
- Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
- Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems.
- Install computer peripherals for users.
- IT Asset tagging work using Inventory Software for Office / Store
- Inventory updates by weekly
- Purchase/Install, Configure IT Devices (Network, POS, Each Department)
- Install computer peripherals for users.
- User education for POS system, Office desktop.
- Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering or Technology (Preferred)
- Comptia A (Preferred)
- Strong Computer Skills and the Ability to Troubleshoot and Diagnose Problems, Familiarity (Preferred)
- Must be able to travel
Work Hours:
- Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
- Hours may be subject to change
