Responsibilities
Effective management of the payroll function, payroll taxes and reports
- Perform payroll maintenance in ADP Work Force Now, create and maintain all validation and Wage Garnishment tables and oversee the payment of wages
- Create and maintain home department table for general ledger interface, coordinating all changes with HR, IS and ADP
- Place weekly union stamp orders and monitor distribution
- Process all internal payroll deductions and make related payments
- Prepare all union reports, compute monthly benefit payments and prepare payroll and employee benefit journal entries
- Create payroll reports and queries (calculate prevailing wage, prepare P/R reports for Aprio and HR Benefit Statements, calculate and enter Qtly CABP payments) and prepare certified payrolls and quarterly payroll tax returns
Timely and accurate preparation of special internal reports and code/review of service department charges
- Coordinate, review and process all commission reports
- Review Service Department Outside Purchase Accounts and make adjustments as necessary (Reconcile Outside Purchase Account)
- Review support, service and general invoices prior to posting
- Review warranty invoices for correct coding
- Provide detail analysis of monthly financial preliminary reports for Service Operations and Support Departments
- Review and approve White Credits for Parts and Service and Branch petty cash reimbursements
Accurate management of fixed assets and depreciation reporting
- Identify, categorize, assign depreciation schedules and process all fixed asset purchases, maintaining all asset reporting using CODA
- Manage the Support portion of the Corporate budget process and maintain the allocations
- Determination and approval of Security access to DBSI and BI Cubes
- Reconcile assets under construction account
Timely completion of special reports for regulatory requirements
- Prepare the Quarterly Federal Excise tax return
- Oversee the filing of HUT, IFTA and CMVT
- Provide back office support for SITECH and DT Rental
- Compile all fuel used for IFTA returns
Staffing and development of people to achieve all key results
