SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
The Parts Shipping/Receiving Clerk will be responsible for performing stocking, retrieving, and verification duties related to incoming and outgoing delivery of parts and accessories. A successful Parts Shipping/Receiving Clerk will perform the following tasks in a way that supports H&R Agri-Powers mission to provide quality products/service at a fair price to afford a reasonable return on assets.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Load and unload deliveries.
- Analyze and compare records to ensure accuracy of every delivery incoming and/or outgoing.
- Process, log, and sort incoming parts according to procedures laid out by Parts Manager.
- Accurately close invoices using the appropriate computer systems.
- Stock parts in appropriate location, monitor shortages, and take the appropriate steps to expedite processing.
- Properly fill outbound and/or inhouse orders promptly.
- Interact with customers to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
- Assist in keeping parts department clean and orderly.
- Manage levels of shipping/receiving materials.
- Work with computer and software to check-in/out parts.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of incoming/outgoing part deliveries.
- Make deliveries, on a as needed basis.
- Maintain a positive, professional, and safe work environment by interacting with peers, management and support resources in a way that promotes teamwork and a commitment to excellence.
Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1 year of Warehouse experience preferred
- Capability of operating a forklift safely
