Drafter
Duties:
- Create detailed technical drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand project requirements and specifications
- Review and analyze project documents, sketches, and notes to determine design details and dimensions
- Prepare accurate and precise 2D drawings, layouts, and diagrams
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Make revisions to drawings as necessary based on feedback from team members or clients
- Maintain organized records of all drawings and related documentation
Requirements:
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately interpret technical specifications
- Knowledge of drafting techniques, standards, and best practices
- Familiarity with building codes and regulations
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills to address design challenges
- Prior experience in drafting or a related field is preferred but not required
