Are you ready to join us?
We are seeking a full-time Associate Planner to assist senior staff and the transportation planning team with various transportation planning services. The position requires a person with strong analytical, writing, communications, and organizational skills to assist in the preparation of transportation planning studies including Active Transportation Plans (ATP), Safe Routes to School (SRTS) Plans, Corridor Studies, Complete Streets, Neighborhood Traffic Management Plans (NTMP), Complete Streets, Community outreach & engagement events, Grant Writing services, Graphic Design, and other transportation planning projects.
Requirements:

Transportation planning/engineering related research

Conduct transportation planning/engineering related analyses

Prepare maps & graphics for community meetings, workshops, and reports/grants under the supervision of our senior transportation planning staff

Assist in the preparation of technical memorandums and reports to communicate technical results and recommendations
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in urban planning, engineering, urban geography or related field

Strong communication skills and work ethic

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop)

2 years of experience in planning-related report writing, outreach/engagement facilitation, and graphic design is desirable
The range for this position is between $33 - 36 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
