The Habitat for Humanity ReStore is a division of Habitat for Humanity of Cleveland. The ReStore mission is to generate revenue through the sale of donated building materials and household items to support Habitat's mission in the Bradley County community. Through its efforts, the ReStore facilitates recycling, minimizes landfill waste, provides low-cost home improvement items, and increases Habitat's visibility in our community.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Represents ReStore in a professional manner when dealing with buyers, donors, volunteers, fellow staff members, and the public both in person and over phone
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting/assisting customers while shopping
- Answer customer questions and provide information on store's policies and procedures
- Operate a Habitat of Cleveland point of sale register
- Open, close, and verify cash in register
- Accurately complete all sales transactions and maintain proper cash accountabilities during shift
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits and/or change due to customers
- Label goods as sold when purchased and not immediately taking item home
- Stocks and maintains merchandise in store, adequately and safely
- Help maintain a clean, well-organized store and facilitate a safe and secure working and shopping environment
- Encourages volunteer program success by contributing to a positive, supportive atmosphere and encouraging volunteer engagement
- Keep drop-off area and store clean, safe, and organized
- Clean & price merchandise at a minimum of 50% off retail - may require research to ensure adequate and competitive pricing
- Neatly arrange merchandise in store and maintain seasonal end caps and other displays
- Greet donors and assist them
- Keep isles clear and safe
- Help keep shelves stocked and organized
- Issue donation receipts
- And other assignment deemed necessary by ReStore management
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $9.00 - $10.00 per hour
