About the role:
This is a fully remote position that will be dispatched from your home office and drive to various customer sites in a company provided vehicle . This technician will manage the Los Angeles Territory and can be located in and around the Ventura, CA area. Several locations have been listed for marketing purposes but only one position is available.

This role will have up to 40% travel and overnight stays at any of our company approved hotels on average 4-5 nights out of the month . You will perform preventative maintenance, routine repair, and calibration/verification of instrumentation for Hach process and laboratory instrumentation! Training will include on the job mentorship through more senior service technicians

Day- to- day:
Build a positive customer experience and serves as on-site customer contact for technical and service-related problems

Submit timely, accurate service reports that affect billing, inventory, instrument history, and instrument failure

Follow safe work practices according to company policy

Implement pre-call planning, efficient service schedule routing, and visit requirements

Coordinate with manager and materials handlers to determine appropriate replacement parts inventory

Manage efficient parts utilization, and maintain accurate inventory records
Are you qualified?

Associates or Technical degree preferred or combination of education and experience; 1-2 years proven success in a field service role

Proven experience performing Preventative Maintenance (PM), diagnostics & repair on core products as required

Driver’s License and clean driving record required

External hiring into this position is contingent upon the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check and possible credit history review.
