Job Summary:
The Purchasing Manager is a full-time role responsible for overseeing the purchasing/procurement of supplies and materials for the resort. The Purchasing Manager will plan, manage, and direct the procurement activities of the resort's departments in order to ensure that supplies are procured in an organized, timely, and cost-effective manner.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement purchasing policies and procedures in compliance with resort standards
• Proactively identify and analyze potential purchasing and supply chain improvements
• Analyze and negotiate prices and terms of purchase and sale
• Ensure sourcing and vendor management procedures are followed
• Research new vendors, compare services, delivery times, and prices
• Monitor product quality and establish quality assurance standards
• Spearhead inventory management operations and maintain accurate inventory records
• Maintain awareness of compliance regulations, industry trends, & supply chain best practices
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers
Requirements:
• 2 or more years of experience in a purchasing management role, preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and related supply chain software
• A demonstrated understanding of purchasing and supply chain management principles
• Hospitality/Resort/Restaurant purchasing experience preferred
