What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ramp Tech-GSE Helper (LCQ-GSE) position at HAECO Americas?
JOB SUMMARY:
The Ramp Tech/GSE Helper will deliver equipment to aircraft and pickup equipment. He/She will assemble and disassemble scaffolds and stands. The Ramp Tech/GSE Helper is responsible to work in a safe manner eliminating waste and delivering a quality product on time.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
1. Deliver stands, equipment, and scaffolds to aircraft and return to storage.
2. Keep the storage area of equipment in order and clean.
3. Organize and maintain stands, equipment, and scaffolds.
4. Inspect and service stands, equipment, and scaffolds.
5. Assemble and disassemble scaffolds and stands.
6. Monitor self and others to assure all duties are performed within the guidelines as specified by the HAECO Team Member Safety Manual to promote a culture of safety.
7. Possess knowledge of hydraulic components.
SECONDARY DUTIES:
1. Assist GSE Mechanic with general duties.
2. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Accountable to the GSE/Facilities Manager in all daily functions.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:MINIMUM:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Must be familiar with hand tools.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Must be able to operate forklift and manlifts.
- Have three years experience as fleet maintenance or automotive/diesel engines.
- Own toolbox with basic hand tools.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
- Normal mental and visual attention along with manual coordination for job duties is necessary for use of hand tools and equipment controls.
- Normal or corrected hearing and vision are required.
- Sense of smell is required to detect odors for safety purposes.
- Physical abilities such as standing, walking, climbing and lifting up to 50 lbs. are required.
- Must be able to crawl under, climb over, push or pull equipment to perform repairs.
- Subject to conditions of hot or cold weather.
Salary : $34,300 - $43,500
