Job Summary:
Hai Robotics is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Spare Parts Manager to join our dynamic team in Atlanta, Georgia. The Spare Parts Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of spare parts inventory management, including procurement, storage, distribution, and customer service. Additionally, this role will include overseeing the warehouse operations and ensuring that the demo unit is operational and ready for customer visits. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and supply chain management, with a focus on spare parts operations in the robotics or automation industry. Proficiency in Mandarin is required, as it will facilitate communication with suppliers and partners in China.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
- Maintain accurate inventory records for all spare parts and components.
- Monitor stock levels to ensure timely replenishment of spare parts.
- Optimize inventory levels to reduce excess stock while minimizing the risk of shortages.
Procurement:
- Source and negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement of spare parts.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, particularly in China.
- Evaluate supplier performance and quality to ensure compliance with company standards.
Warehouse Management:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient storage, organization, and retrieval of spare parts.
- Implement best practices in warehouse management to improve productivity and safety.
- Conduct regular audits of warehouse inventory and processes.
Demo Unit Maintenance:
- Ensure the demo unit is operational and properly maintained for customer visits.
- Coordinate with technical teams to address any issues or malfunctions in the demo unit.
- Prepare the demo unit for demonstrations, ensuring it showcases the full capabilities of Hai Robotics’ solutions.
Distribution and Logistics:
- Coordinate the distribution and delivery of spare parts to customers and internal teams.
- Develop and implement efficient logistics strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
Customer Service:
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers regarding spare parts.
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues related to spare parts availability and delivery.
- Work closely with the sales and service teams to meet customer needs and expectations.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze spare parts usage trends and forecast future demand.
- Prepare regular reports on inventory levels, procurement activities, and supplier performance.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in spare parts management, warehouse management, or logistics, preferably in the robotics or automation industry.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, procurement, and logistics practices.
- Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and inventory management software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in team leadership and staff development is preferred.
