What are the responsibilities and job description for the Onboarding Specialist position at Hairstory?
Hairstory is seeking an Onboarding Specialist who will generate an on-going pipeline of independent hairdressers and build relationships with them to learn their needs and pain points, educate them on the Hairstory product line and process, onboard them as new History Hairdressers.
The Hairstory office is located in NYC (95 5th Ave) and the department is on a hybrid schedule.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Create powerful and trusting relationships with stylists and employees
- Master knowledge of the Hairstory brand and educate the hairdresser on our products and their benefits
- Present the brand in a compelling manner to stylists
- Build credible and collaborative relationships with internal cross-functional teams and customers
- Hit sales targets related to onboarding metrics for incoming new independent hairdressers
- Maintain an on-going lead pipeline and documentation in current CRM system for all areas (HD, HDC, HD inventory)
- Generate new leads through outbound efforts, including analysis of territories and markets to identify market leaders
- Maintain and manage a robust pipeline of potential leads through both inbound and outbound strategies
- Nurture established prospects to foster long-term relationships and drive conversions
- Adhere to a systematic follow-up meeting schedule for engaging with leads and prospects
- Attend all company meetings and training sessions to stay updated on product knowledge and sales strategies
- Collect HD information and set up affiliate links, facilitating affiliate marketing efforts
- Coach and provide guidance to all new HD’s and inactive HD’s to achieve their first benchmark goals in gaining sales from customers from their links
- Enter daily notes in Hubspot to ensure comprehensive tracking and follow-up on all business development activities, maintaining accurate records for analysis and planning
