Operations - Distribution Center Manager

Our team has been servicing the community for years. We are a close-knit group that works together to provide the best service to both new and existing customers.As a Distribution Center Manger with Hughes Supply Phoenix your specific duties will include but are not limited to: •Receive, count, and verify incoming shipments•Assist customers who purchase and/or pick up merchandise at the Profit Center•Process and fill Sales Orders generated at the sales counter•Stock the warehouse and maintain cleanliness, order and safety•Process cash sale returns and refund paperwork in accordance with Company policy and procedure.•Pick materials for orders, assemble and package the materials for shipment/pick up•Purchasing procedures to include procuring merchandise for resale, inventory management, and analyzing products on handAll interested applicants must possess: •High school degree or equivalent•Be 21 years of age or older•Possess a proper and valid driver’s license•Possess a driving record that demonstrates good driving skills•The ability to learn to safely operate a forklift and other material-handling equipment•Know of, apply, and practice safety precautions in a warehouse and material handling environmentOur ideal candidate will also: •Have, or quickly develop, a comprehensive knowledge of product•Have 1 years warehouse or material handling experience•Possess the drive to assist team members with other tasks as required•Basic computer literacy•Experience in customer service, counter sales, or contractor sales preferred•Able to build and maintain a positive working relationship with customers, vendors and co-workers.The benefits of working with us:Although Hajoca is a large company, we work in a decentralized environment where each of our locations, called Profit Centers, is run by the Profit Center Manager as if it was their own small business.
