Hale Trailer Brake & Wheel (Hale) is a multi-location, full-service trailer dealership with an immediate opening for a Trailer and Equipment Rental Manager at its Little Rock, AR branch.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned sales professional who is competitive with experience selling or renting semi-trailers or other heavy-duty equipment. They will be responsible for representing the Company as a knowledgeable trailer expert to find the perfect solution to meet the customer’s trailer and equipment rental needs.

Responsibilities:
- Achieving sales and profit goals established by the Company.
- Developing and maintaining existing and new customer relationships.
- Soliciting prospects and existing customers with the ability to promote and rent all of the Company’s equipment lines.
- Preparing and presenting product rental proposals to customers.
- Maintaining awareness of market conditions and customer needs while recognizing cross selling opportunities.
- Work with Hale’s marketing and creative department to implement rental marketing programs.
- Processing rental reservations and contracts and inspecting inbound and outbound equipment.
- Oversight of the condition and maintenance of equipment while on customer premises.
- Oversight of department administration including maintenance of customer, vendor and equipment files and review and approval of all work orders.
- Managing rental department personnel.
- Interfacing with corporate accounting and administration, as well as other branch locations as needed.
- Participating in Company and vendor sponsored training programs.
- Comply with the Company’s safety program.
- Will perform other tasks, as needed.
Requirements:
- Must have sales skills and operating savvy.
- Experience in trailer sales or rental or with other heavy-duty equipment.
- Self starter, problem solver, eager to learn.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team structure.
- Able to work in a dynamic environment and also be able to multi-task.
- Good computer skills.
- Able to work flexible hours based on workload.
- Must pass a standard pre-employment drug test
