Haley and Haley - an established real estate law firm – has an opening for a pre-closer in its Buford office. We work with real estate agents, developers, builders, brokers, lenders, buyers and sellers on residential real estate transactions.
If you have 2-5 years of related work experience, are looking for an opportunity with a growing business, have direct exposure to closing file processing, coordination, and more importantly, find a legitimate joy in managing details and serving others, we want to meet you.
MUST HAVES:
- Mortgage closing/processing experience
- A heart for serving others, strong character and a genuine nature
- Hyper-organizational ability and detail-orientation
- Experience working with SoftPro Select
- Capacity to calmly and consistently manage competing priorities
- High comfort level managing varied deadline-driven tasks
- Demeanor to handle a sporadically fast-paced work environment
- Strong, instinctive sense of “ownership” over one’s work
- Can cheerfully perform ancillary duties as requested (e.g. team player)
This role demands first-rate communicative ability, a joyful demeanor, constant external/internal stakeholder messaging/updating and exceedingly strong customer-care abilities… that is, you understand that you are the face of the firm, you legitimately care about people and you can easily communicate with all types of people.
Some additional attributes desired:
- Strong software aptitude (preferred skills in Softpro Select and customary Microsoft platforms)
- Solid memory retention and mathematical aptitude
- Work extremely well independently and with a team
- Have occasional (and cheerful) schedule flexibility
Some of the day to day…
- Coordinating transactions, title orders, review/preparation of mortgage/closing documents
- Communicating regularly/consistently with realtors, loan closers (lenders), borrowers and others
- Consistent/timely follow-through on mortgage lender and funding requirements
- Verifying accuracy of detailed document specifications
- Fielding phone inquiries, periodic greeting and reception, document recordation and fee-tracking
