Under broad direction, leads and directs daily warehouse and bulk plant operations for the purpose of ensuring the delivery of quality customer service, world-class safety, and facility efficiency. Occasionally has customer contact for the purpose of verifying customer needs and service quality. Oversees the work activities of the plant personnel to ensure smooth running of the overall operational activities. Utilizes personnel and equipment in a manner that maximizes the efficiency and safe operation of the warehouse and bulk plant. Assists in the planning and budgeting processes. Other responsibilities include OTR issues, manufacturing expenses, budget expenses, CAPEX, and accounting duties. Job role has budgetary type of accountabilities or directly impacts a revenue center’s viability of its quality of service via personal contributions. Skills are typically acquired through on the job training and a minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in plant services. Bachelor’s degree required.
