SUMMARY: As a Retail Sales Manager, your job is to drive sales revenue for the company in the Monroeville, PA area. The Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations of his/her lot and reporting information to upper management as needed, but generally running “your own business”. We will train you to be successful. This is not strictly a 9-5 job. There will be times throughout the year that may require more than 44 hours of sales office time worked in a week in order to effectively manage the sales lot and keep up with the demands of the busy sales periods. After a duration of one year and after proof of successful completion of training period days, daily office hours can be adjusted. In addition to annual salary, Sales Managers also earn quarterly commissions on all sales and may be eligible for a profit-sharing bonus annually.

- Generate Sales, bringing positive revenue resulting in profit for the company
- Cover the sales office during all hours of operation (min of 44 hours per week), 52 weeks of the year, except authorized holidays on which the Sales Office is closed or scheduled vacation
- Monday through Friday 9:00AM – 5:00PM & Saturday 9:00AM – 1:00PM
- Must be available twice a year for corporate Sales and Marketing Training
- Design creative displays
- Rotate signage and hang banners for current sales/specials
- Maintain attractive pricing posters on every stock building
- Create effective advertising IE.; print media, or e-advertising (Facebook, LinkedIn, Etc.)
- Provide timely photographs of stock units for current ads
- Guide customers through the purchasing experience before, during and after delivery
- Report and schedule all major repairs immediately following delivery, and communicate that repair schedule as necessary to customers
- Complete minor repairs due to damage upon delivery and those covered by the product warranty, before or after office hours
- Conduct site checks and home consultations, before or after office hours
- Schedule deliveries with the customer and coordinate deliveries with the drivers
- Remove any product or debris from building prior to delivery
- Interact effectively and efficiently with drivers, creating a team environment
- Communicate a competent understanding of the product, including materials and assembly
- Keep a clean and organized sales office
- Display appropriate business signage (certificate of insurance, labor law posters and etc.)
- Maintain an orderly display lot, including but not limited to mowing, weed control, and basic landscaping
- Keep all stock buildings in good repair
- Remove shingle strips/netting from stock buildings
- Regularly inspect stock for damage or vandalism
- Report and schedule major repairs in a timely manner
- Maintain a variety of stock structures and reorder when stock models have been sold and need replaced
- Display buildings and furniture in a logical manner
- Conduct regular inventories and work with the corporate office to reconcile inventory discrepancies
- Maintain an on-going stock building list to track allowable discounts
- Manage multiple open customer accounts
- Collect on past-due accounts
- Provide detailed reporting on all accounts receivable
- Execute daily banking procedures
- Make deposits daily or as needed in accordance to the SOP guidance for cash handling
- Manage Profit and Loss (Income and Expense) reports and control variable expenses
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS:
- 1-2 years of sales and managerial experience – Preferred
- Basic carpentry and/or construction experience - Preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen. The employee is required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to manipulate, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift supplies, up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
