Summary:

In this role, the associate will build skids, package materials, create labels and transport materials with fork truck within shipping area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties may include the following. Other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary to support quality goals and objectives.

• Shipping Receiving must be able to operate a forklift, pallet jack or hand dolly to transfer supplies, parts or materials received from the loading dock.
• Shipping Receiving must be able to stock supplies, parts, or materials in designated areas.
• Shipping Receiving must be able to transfer, handle and cut wood utilize in the building of skids.
• Shipping Receiving must be able to utilize nail guns and hand tools to build skids.
• Shipping Receiving must be able to band, foam and shrink wrap hoods.
• Shipping Receiving must be able to move crated hoods to shipping area.
• Shipping Receiving must affix required documentation and labeling on product.
• Shipping Receiving must maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
• Shipping Receiving must be able to use a handheld scan gun to record labor hours.
• Shipping Receiving must be able to document outgoing shipments with pictures and completed documents.

• Ability to safely and successfully perform any/all essential job functions.
• Ability to meet and maintain all qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
• Ability to maintain reasonably regular and punctual attendance.
• Compliance with all personnel policies and practices.
• On the job training, training, and certification in operation of heavy equipment, regular training and re-certification required.
• Ability to work alone for extended periods and in teams.
• Ability to perform simple mathematics
• Ability to perform multistep procedures
• Comprehension of verbal and written instructions
