What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Office Manager position at Hampton Inn and Suites by Hilton Savannah Airport?
The Front Office Manager is responsible for all front office functions and associates. Oversees Guest Services and Front Desk Staff. Works with internal managers and external associates to successfully execute all front office duties and ensure smooth and efficient guest arrival and departure process. Demonstrates excellent leadership, communication and team building skills with associates, peers and across all departments. Exhibit in-depth knowledge of property management system and all front desk shift duties, including night audit.
Job Requirements:
- Knows all essential aspects of hotel operations.
- Create and facilitate Front Desk staff schedule.
- Hiring and training new Front Desk Agents.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Registers guests and manages the rooming assignments.
- Collects charge payments from customers and manage direct bill accounts.
- Assists guests and owners in a branded, friendly, proactive, and efficient manner with appropriate follow-up as necessary.
- Responds to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
- Must be highly motivated, self-directed, with strong initiative and desire for achievement.
- Exceptional customer service skills required.
- Must possess strong computer skills.
- Must be flexible and willing to work evenings & weekends.
- On-call at all times to manage call-outs and on-site issues that require managerial intervention.
- OnQ Property Management System knowledge preferred, but not required.
