Essential Functions:
- Provide the highest quality of service to the guest at all times.
- Welcome all arriving guests; assists guests with front door and in unloading baggage from vehicles.
- Inspect all public areas to ensure cleanliness standards have been met.
- Assist room attendants with heavy items such as mattresses and soiled linens.
- Deliver linens and necessary supplies to room attendants.
- Collect trash throughout the hotel including; room attendant’s carts, vending areas, offices and restrooms.
- Respond to guest requests such as delivery of housekeeping supplies (e.g. linens, cots, etc.) in a timely and efficient manner.
- Shampoo carpet, strip and wax floors through the hotel.
- Have a thorough knowledge of emergency procedures.
- Wear proper uniform at all times in accordance with the Standards of Appearance.
- Be able to lift and carry 50lbs; push and pull 60 lbs.
- Other duties as assigned, of when the employee is capable of performing.
Requirements:
- Ability to speak, read, write the English language
- Possess good communication skills, both verbal and written
- High school or equivalent education required.
- Bilingual or multilingual ability preferred.
- Commitment to exceptional guest service
- Great positive attitude
