Part Time Night Auditor

We’re looking for a Night Auditor to assist guests with their overnight requests and balance accounts from the day shift. Night Auditor responsibilities include checking in guests, handling requests and taking reservations. The Night Auditor also reconciles all accounts, processes invoices and prepares paychecks. Ultimately, you will provide excellent customer service to guests and keep the front desk and accounting operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Check in guests, answer phones and take reservations
• Approach all encounters with guests and associates in a friendly, service-oriented manner
• Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Peacock Hotel LLC standards as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform and name-tag when working.
• Respond to guest complaints, requests and emergencies
• Process invoices, post checks to vendors and distribute employee checks
• Reconcile accounts
• Balance the cash drawer and log receipts
• Complete the Night Audit Checklist for computer procedures daily
• Maintain Front Office computer system operation
• Fulfill all Front Office functions between the hours of 11:00 p.m and 7:00 a.m.
• Handle and follow through on all guest requests daily from 11:00 p.m to 7:00 a.m.
• Investigate and resolve out-of-balance accounts
• Keep accurate financial records and ledgers
• Help prepare for forecasts and audits

Skills

• Proven experience as a Night Auditor or in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry -- Hilton experience preferred
• Experience with accounting and facilities management software preferred
• Attention to detail.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Strong customer service skills a must.
• Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.
• Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision.
• Must be proficient in Windows operating systems.
• Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
• Must work well in stressful high pressure situations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Availability to work overnight.
• Must be flexible.

Qualifications

HILTON experience is a must! Must have an excellent attitude, work well in a teamwork environment, be willing to work weekends and holidays, and be highly motivated. Must maintain a professional appearance and a cordial attitude towards all guests and staff. Prior experience and Bilingual are preferred. This is an overnight job of a 24/7 hotel operation. The ideal candidate has a track record of excellence in attendance, motivated, and used to working overnight.
