Overview
This position will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks; loading/unloading finished product from lumber trucks, railcars, cargo containers, sorting of product into proper locations, and assisting with paper wrapping procedures.
This is a fulltime position, Monday-Friday, operating hours are from 6:00am-4:00pm (hours may vary depending on needs of the facility) may include overtime and/or weekends when needed to meet the needs of the operation. Wage is $24.97 ($51,937 annually not including overtime or production bonuses)

Responsibilities
- Complete Daily Inspection Sheet prior to operating PIT
- Understand truck loading policy and lumber stacking policy
- Report leak(s) no matter how minor and damage to the lead to get them repaired before operating.
- Maintain proper housekeeping to promote a safe work environment.
- Forklift housekeeping includes but not limited to, blowing out engine compartment, washing lift, disinfecting, and removal of garbage.
- Attention to detail and time management skills
- Stock rotation, staging and/or plan for future loads
- Be self-motivated and be a team player
- Understand and follow company safety rules and policies
- Process material to ensure minimal and/or no damage to the product, facility, or machine.
Qualifications
- Hampton PIT certification and Fall Protection
- Must be able to learn the procedure for above and ground level cabling of railcars
- Have strong communication both verbal and written
- Ability to work/communicate professionally with lumber carriers, vendors, and railroad operators
- Good hand/eye coordination
- Working knowledge of lumber species and product mix preferred but not required
- Ability to identify attributes and barcodes is preferred but not required
- Proficient in Excel and Lumbertrack is preferred but not required
- Must be able to work at heights of at least 15 feet.
- Experience with loading and unloading railcars and lumber trucks is preferred but not required.
