Summary of Responsibilities

As a Pediatric RN with Hands That Touch Home Health, you will primarily serve patients in Montgomery, Howard County, and southern Baltimore City. We are seeking a highly personable individual who thrives on engaging with patients and teaching and educating family members and caregivers.

Essential Functions

• Drive to patients’ homes for appointments (up to 3-4 per day)
• Conduct comprehensive health and psychosocial evaluations
• Monitor patient conditions
• Promote sound preventative practices
• Coordinate services with the family and the healthcare team
• Educate and train family members and caregivers on medical skills
• Manage your own schedule and clearly communicate with families on schedule changes
• Complete charting in a timely manner, with the flexibility to do so remotely

Education, Experience, and Skills Required

• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• 3 years of Nursing experience
• 2 years of Pediatric Nursing experience (labor and delivery, NICU, pediatric intensive care unit, etc.)
• Bachelor’s in Nursing
• Previous home care, clinic and/or hospital experience
• Familiarity with ostomy care
• Computer literacy, especially medical software (CRM)
• Ability to chart electronically
• Able to work in a fast-paced, autonomous environment
• Excellent time management and multitasking skills

Compensation

• $50-$60 pay per hour with the opportunity for pay raises after 90 days and 6 months
• 401k with matching up to 3.3%
