What you'll do
- Manage program scope, risks, issues, deliverables, and the schedule of individual program tasks; creates and manages project schedules, including MS Project plans.
- Is accountable for the management and escalation of program control processes, including task management, RAID, scope creep, and change and quality control.
- Lead and direct a set of high-priority projects, which often require considerable resources and high-levels of functional integration and iteration with internal teams.
- Conduct regular program meetings with teams to review the status of the project, including scheduling and resource issues; presents program status and issues to stakeholders through formal presentations.
- Lead program steering committee reviews and gate approvals, creates status reports for steering committee meetings to facilitate decision-making.
- Responsible for tracking, resolving, and escalating program issues and risks.
- Monitor team dynamic and team accountability related to delivery commitments, assigns program tasks and coordinates resources.
- Coordinate third party contributions throughout the life cycle of the program.
- Lead conversations with senior leadership as a change agent and influencer to move from Waterfall to Agile methodology.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience Required:
- Strong desire to work in a purpose-driven organization
- At least 8 years of technical project management experience in an enterprise environment
- At least 10 years of experience working in an IT infrastructure environment, with proficient understanding of systems, hardware, software, and networking
- Strong familiarity with IT operations and facilities
- Experience establishing relationships with and presenting to executive and senior leaders
- Excellent analytic and organizational skills
- Experience managing vendor relations
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience managing accountability for cross-functional teams and coordinating activities across multiple work streams
- Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and SharePoint
- Previous experience with Agile Scrum and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) preferred
