Franchise Business Consultant Coach
Department: Operations
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Franchise Business Consultant Coach to work closely with franchise owners to optimize business performance, drive sales, and ensure brand consistency. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as a deep understanding of franchising operations. This position reports directly to the CEO and President and will work closely with the Franchisee Association Board.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Conduct regular business reviews with franchise owners to analyze financial performance, operational efficiency, and adherence to brand standards.
2. Provide guidance and support to franchise owners on business planning, marketing strategies, and operational improvements.
3. Collaborate with franchise owners to develop action plans to address any operational or performance issues, and track progress against key performance indicators.
4. Train franchise owners and their staff on brand standards, operational procedures, and best practices to drive business success.
5. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for growth and improvement within the franchise network.
6. Act as a liaison between franchise owners and the corporate office to ensure clear communication and alignment on business objectives.
7. Assist in the development and implementation of new programs, initiatives, and processes to enhance the overall franchise system.
8. Conduct field visits to assess store operations, customer service, and compliance with brand standards.
9. Provide feedback and recommendations to senior management on ways to enhance the effectiveness and profitability of the franchise network.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
2. Proven experience as a Franchise Business Consultant or similar role within the franchising industry.
3. Strong knowledge of business operations, financial analysis, and performance metrics.
4. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
5. Ability to build strong relationships with franchise owners, corporate teams, and external stakeholders.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with CRM software.
7. Willingness to travel extensively to visit franchise locations.
8. Certification in Franchise Management or relevant field is preferred. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Requires education generally equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree (Accounting, or Administration, or Marketing, or Personnel) from a four-year college or university. A Master's degree is a plus, and significant work experience as a FBCC will be considered in lieu of a degree.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and/or vendors.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of information furnished in written and oral form.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Requires the ability to operate a wide variety of standard office equipment, such as a computer and keyboard.
