Job Summary:
We are seeking a caring and experienced Child Caretaker to join our team. As a Child Caretaker, you will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for children under your care. Your role will involve supervising and engaging with children, ensuring their well-being, and promoting their development.
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive and compassionate care to children with disabilities of various ages
- Create a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and play
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities, including educational games, crafts, and outdoor play
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
-Knowledge on how to use a feeding tube
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of play areas and equipment
- Monitor children's behavior and intervene when necessary to promote positive interactions
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's daily activities, progress, and any concerns that may arise
Requirements:
- Previous experience in infant care, babysitting, daycare, or a related field
- Knowledge of childhood development and behavior management techniques
- Familiarity with early childhood education principles
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
-Must be very alert and attentive to the child needs
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)
-Ability to remain calm in emergency situations and follow safety plans provided
- High school diploma or equivalent
