What’s the position?
Seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Compliance Monitoring Analyst to join our Compliance team. The successful candidate will assist in monitoring business activities to ensure compliance with regulations, internal controls, and company policies. This role is critical in maintaining the integrity and legal standing of our iGaming and online Sports Betting operations.
Responsibilities:
Monitoring and Review:
- Conduct regular monitoring activities to ensure business operations comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Review and analyze transactions, reports, and other documents to identify potential compliance issues.
- Assist in the development and implementation of monitoring plans and schedules.
Reporting
- Prepare detailed reports of monitoring activities and findings.
- Communicate findings to the Compliance Assurance team and other relevant stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation of regulatory filings and reports as required.
Policy and Procedure Maintenance
- Assist in the review and updating of internal controls, policies, and procedures to ensure they remain current and effective.
- Provide recommendations for improvements based on monitoring activities and regulatory changes.
Training and Awareness
- Participate in the development and delivery of compliance training programs for employees.
- Promote a culture of compliance and awareness throughout the organization.
Investigation and Remediation
- Support investigations into potential compliance breaches or irregularities.
- Assist in developing and implementing corrective action plans to address identified issues.
Collaboration
- Work closely with other departments (e.g. Legal, Finance, Operations) to ensure a coordinated approach to compliance.
- Liaise with external regulators and auditors as needed.
Continuous Improvement
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory updates, and best practices in compliance monitoring.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Compliance Assurance team.
What are we looking for?
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Law, finance, or a related filed
- Advanced degrees or professional certifications (e.g. CAMS) are a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a compliance, audit, or risk management role, preferably within the iGaming or online Sports Betting industry.
- Familiarity with relevant regulatory frameworks and industry standards
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience with compliance monitoring tools and software is preferred.
Other Requirements:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required gaming licenses.
