Lead Salad Bar

$14.00 - $18.60 PER HOUR GENERAL PURPOSE: The purpose of this position is to maintain quality standards and product levels of all products on the salad bar. This person will be preparing items for the salad bar, mixing salad dressings, setting up and taking down the salad bar and soup bar, preparing to-go salads, sandwiches, and dips, training new salad bar associates, determining production and inventory levels, receiving and stocking product, and providing exceptional customer service. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Follows established departmental and store policies and procedures Ensures the quality and freshness of all products and services the kitchen provides Responsible for maintaining the appropriate product assortment and inventory levels for the salad bar Confirms pricing accuracy and signage for all products, paying particular attention to ad items Ensures the kitchen is cleaned and sanitized daily and meets the company standards for appearance Delivers excellent customer service to all customers Prepares items for the salad bar; greens, walnuts, croutons, beets, bacon, etc. Mixes salad dressings Mixes to-go dips Packaging to-go soups, salads, and sandwiches Setup and/or takedown of salad bar and soup bar Responsible for inventory and ordering for the salad bar Receiving and stocking of product Teaches, mentors, and educates associates to help them be successful members of the team Provides honest, direct, and constant feedback to associates regarding their performance and areas of improvement Assists as needed to ensure the success of the kitchen as a whole MARGINIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs other job-related duties as assigned. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to grasp, push, pull, carry, stoop, twist, crouch, and reach; perform tasks requiring repetitive motion and eye, hand, and foot coordination; hear and respond to customer inquiries. Also requires standing, walking, and bending throughout the entire workday and the ability to maneuver heavy objects weighing up to 50 pounds from location to location.
