As the Part Time Medical Director, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with our clinical teams to contribute to that mission. These passionate team members will depend on you to provide oversight of clinical and physician services, and to be a reliable go-to problem solver.

On an average day, you will

  • Collaborate and act as a resource with the IDT/IDG to ensure that the medical needs of the patient are met and provide plan of care oversight.
  • Assure overall continuity of the hospice medical services to include contractual services.
  • Assure patients receive appropriate measures to control uncomfortable symptoms.
  • Certify the patient meets medical criteria for admission based on available diagnostic and prognostic indicators.
  • Re-certifying patients, for continuation of benefits at the appropriate level of care
  • Serve as a medical resource for the hospice team.
  • And perform additional, related duties as needed.

If you.

  • Are passionate about providing the best possible care to patients and their families.
  • Believe in the hospice philosophy.
  • Have at least 2 years of Hospice MD work experience
  • Have a current license to practice medicine in Ohio.
