Job Description
Due to solid growth, we are in need of a Strategic Account Manager. This position will focus on a specified number of Key Accounts and Potential Accounts with good potential, nurturing existing relationships and binging onboard new Key Accounts. Our customers are repeat customers who usually require our products, so there is usually a not a question of if they are going to buy what we sell, but rather who they are going to buy from and once you win an account, they usually stick around. We need someone with very good people skills, a high degree of understanding and being able to get through to diverse sets of customers. Pay includes a very solid base plus commission.
Duties
- Nurture and solidify existing relationships with Key Accounts
- Contact High-Potential accounts, listen to their needs and convince them to start buying from our company
- Sell at Gross Profit Margins that are health for the company and your commissions as well
- Travel to meet with existing and prospective customers
- * Travel to and work in the neighborhood of 10-14 tradeshows per year.
- Have Zoom meetings with prospective clients and make professional presentations using digital assets
- Manage a sales funnel related to prospective accounts
- Maintain CRM records diligently
Requirements
- Must be willing to travel 12 - 25 weeks per year
- Must have a bachelors degree
- Must have 2 years of experience
- Must be very organized, professional and presentable
- Must be able to relate to our customer base and decision makers
- Must have a good business acumen
- Must have good negotiated skills
- Must be organized and diligent
- CRM a plus
- MBA a plus
