Job Description:
- Utilize internal spreadsheet to track progress ensuring invoices are accounted for accurately
- Consistent and timely correspondence with division contacts to validate costs and respective account coding
- Independently troubleshoot invoice issues
- Initiate Non-PO in PeopleSoft accurately and timely
- Facilitate invoice corrections and reversals utilizing Corporate Accounting Corrections Log process
- Prepare and post journal entries with supporting documentation
- Work with analysts responsible for performing related inter company general ledger account reconciliations to ensure they are accurately reconciled, and all invoices are accurately accounted for
- Assist management with streamlining current processes and document formal procedures
- Extended work hours
Qualifications:
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior finance or accounting experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior finance or accounting experience
Preferred Skills:
- 3+ years PeopleSoft experience in Inter company Billing System, Accounts Payable, Procurement and General Ledger modules
- Must be flexible team player with the ability to complete tasks accurately and timely to meet strict deadlines
- Must have strong organizational, communication and analytical skills
- Self-directed and proactive
