What are the responsibilities and job description for the Coordinator position at Harsco Rail?
Job Description
- Planning and oversight of the implementation of the 5 S system in all areas covered by the program.
- Organizing and conducting training for employees.
- Serves as liaison between management and employees regarding 5 S initiatives.
- Responsible for the upkeep of the standards book.
- Provides oversight for 5 S audits / projects and resolves and disputes between parties included in projects.
Qualifications
- Experience with 5 S concepts and strategy
- BS Degree or relevant 5S / Lean experience
- Computer Savvy : Ability to generate spreadsheets and use Power Point to prepare presentations
- Strong Communication Skills
- Background in manufacturing / production environment
- Self-starter
