Reports to: Housekeeping Supervisor
Classification: Non Exempt Seasonal Part-time Year Round Temporary Volunteer
Overall Responsibilities of the Laundry Lead:
- Assures that the Hart Ranch Camping Resort has an adequate supply of laundry/linen on hand at all times to meet the needs of the Members.
- Meets or exceeds Member service expectations.
- Works well with other team members, assists in training and mentoring Laundry Attendants.
- Assists Housekeeping Supervisor in process improvement, operational workflow, and scheduling.
- Opening and closing/securing the Housekeeping building according to schedule.
- Adheres to Hart Ranch Camping Resort Employee Handbook and Employee Safety Manual.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
The Laundry Lead Will:
- Complete and assist the Housekeeping Supervisor in training and mentoring Laundry Attendants to:
- Collect, sort and wash soiled laundry, linens, garments, etc. in accordance with established procedures and time specifications.
- Transport supplies, including clean and soiled linens, to the appropriate storage and collection areas.
- Fold, count, and stack linens following approved laundry procedures.
- Routinely inspect linens for wear and tear, identify worn and torn linens, and following the procedures for damaged linens.
- Maintain the commercial laundry room in a clean, orderly and sanitary condition.
- Maintain hygiene of machines.
- Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy.
- Notify supervisor concerning the need for major repairs or additions to laundry operating systems
- Observe precautions required to protect Hart Ranch Members property, and report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors.
- Maintain a record of the inventory of cleaning products.
- Wash out stains and keep the brightness of color in linens.

Requirements
Minimum of 18 years of age. Must be a motivated self-starter. Ability to lift 30 pounds. Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, holidays & special events as needed.
Salary : $26,600 - $33,700
