The material clerk is required to handle day to day inventory movement to support manufacturing requirements. In additional to synchronizing material movement, the clerk works with Quality and others support departments to meet operational goals.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accurately controls and tracks physical inventory.
- Reports inventory balances, and any shortages.
- Follow inventory management, ISO, & cycle counting steps
- Place tags and labels onto inventory stock, including corrections.
- Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
- Performs WMS activities and execute movements in a timely manner.
- Use forklift to transport material to and from a location.
- Perform all functions in accordance with operations and safety guidelines.
- Comply with all policies and procedures.
- Flexible with the schedule.
- Comply with Food Safety/GMP policies.
- Performs all duties assigned, but not limited to the job description.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma
- 1-2 years related experience in warehouse manufacturing & material flow.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with all levels of the Harv 81 team.
- Computer skill in Excel, Word, & Outlook
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Experience operating a forklift and pallet jack.
- Proficient with using tools such as a RF Scanner
- Process improvement mindset.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
- Able as needed to meet deadlines.
- Frequently required to walk, bend, stoop, lift, twist and stand for long periods of time.
- Frequently required to lift/push/carry items up to 50 pounds.
- Able to work in varying warehouse temperatures.
Pay Range
$19.00-$23.00 per hour
