Job Description:
- The main function of a non-IT project manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as engineering, research and development, financial systems, product roll-out, etc. or any other non-IT-based project.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate projects, make detailed plans to accomplish goals and direct the integration of technical activities. Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to clients.
- Recruit employees, assign, direct, and evaluate their work, and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.
- Analyze technology, resource needs and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.

Education/Experience:

Position’s Contributions to Work Group:
- The resource will be responsible to work with Company clients to stand up various projects and programs, from business transformation to shop improvements.
- The resource will build rapport with the project team and stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction.
Typical task breakdown:
- Defining and maintaining project management and process standards.
- Partnering with Enterprise teams to ensure alignment with Enterprise strategy and leverage of platforms where appropriate.
- Provides administrative planning and follow-up for program team, steering committee, and governance review meetings.
- Lead and conduct project schedule-making and project milestone drawing. Maintains and can lead update meetings for program level issues/action logs, risk registers/FMEAs, scope change requests/logs, program work plans, program cost tracking and provide workshop planning, execution, and follow-up assistance.
- Create accurate and detailed schedules.
- The incumbent will capture all information, interpret, and identify relationships between activities, analyzes data from schedule updates, works with project team members to resolve logic errors, explains changes due to updates, and recommends actions to resolve schedule problems.
- The incumbent must be able to interpret and transfer the work breakdown structure (WBS) into project management software.
- Interpret & communicate Voice of Customer (VOC) and Voice of Business (VOB) needs.
Interaction with the team:
- Ensure project plans are updated on time.
- Work with project team members to mitigate risks.
- Coordinates project schedule with both the customer and production control.
- Work with functional areas to develop their detailed activities and schedule.
- Will be using MS Teams, and email. Some F2F with clients
Work environment:
- The resource will be in the Morton or Mossville office at a minimum of 50% of a given month.
Education & Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree from a US-accredited organization
- 3 to 5 years of progressively responsible job-related experience in Program Coordination.
- Strong project management skills
- Customer-oriented, ability to discuss-follow project milestones progress, in addition, to resolving technical/commercial issues with the project scope.
Technical Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT)
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Project
