Position Summary :

Under the supervision of an RN, performs basic patient care activities. The primary purpose of the Cardiovascular Service Line Materials Coordinator position is to provide a variety of unit support functions that contribute to overall efficient operation of the Cardiovascular Service Line.

The Cardiovascular Service Line Materials Coordinator is responsible for the management of the supply and equipment procurement and maintenance.

Reports to : Clinical Nurse Manager / Director

FLSA : Non-exempt

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications :

Minimum Education

x High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Required Skills

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Required Skills

Certifications :

Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire Minimum Work Experience

Required Skills

Required to be competent in and utilize a variety of software programs for charges / billing and ordering of supplies such as GHX, VIRA, Craneware, CQI, SMART, and others as needed.
