What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN FT CV/ICU position at Havasu Regional Medical Center?
Havasu Regional Medical Center’s Department of Nursing is looking for an experienced, motivated, and dedicated CV/ICU Registered Nurse to join their team.
This impactful position provides delivery of patient care with the knowledge of a Registered Nurse and must demonstrate the clinical ability to work as Primary Registered Nurse on the CV/ICU.
CV/ICU RNs are responsible for coordinating the delivery of patient care; completing required documentation and participating in inpatient/family teaching and discharge planning, effectively utilizing the Nursing Process. ?CV/ICU Registered Nurses must be highly collaborative, provide leadership and ensure process-driven high quality of care for all CV/ICU patients.
Essential Functions of the CV/ICU Registered Nurse:
Work cooperatively and effectively with physicians, ancillary staff and other administrative staff
Maintain high standards of professional nursing practice in the multidisciplinary clinical setting
Provide the basic leadership required of a Registered Nurse for subordinate staff on the Unit
Maintain quality delivery of patient care by completing patient assignments in compliance with the Nursing Process, the Arizona Nurse Practice Act, TJC, and State regulations and established Hospital Policies and Procedures
Strive daily to give all customers excellent care and promotes Havasu Regional Medical Centers’ Standards of Behavior
Demonstrate superior critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action??
Qualifications of a CV/ICU Registered Nurse:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Current Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) License or Compact State Registered Nurse (RN) License
ACLS certificate at time of hire
Required Certifications to Earn After Hire:
TNCC (within 6 months)
Moderate and Deep Sedation (within 30 days)
EKG Course and NIHSS Stroke (within 30 days)
Preferred Experience of the CV/ICU Registered Nurse:
1 year ICU nursing experience
