Job Functions:
Uses qualified documentation that specifies descriptions and quantities. Correctly prints necessary labeling. Locates and carefully opens container as needed, correctly retrieves desired item. Counts out correct amount as stated on documentation and records (scans) item. Carefully transports without damaging items to staging location while continually identifying (flags) items for replenishment. Tags pulled items with staging location and clearly identifies location onto documentation. Continually maintains work area per 5S procedure. Participates as needed with daily cycle counts and annual physical inventory. Ability to work independently in a timely manner is a must.
Accountabilities:
- Product Picking/Counting Accuracy
- Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain (5S)
- Inventory Accuracy
Uses the following documentation: Work Orders, Pull Sheets, PIPRs, Focus Factory Replenishments, Vendor Requisitions, Sales Orders and/or Scanning Device. Locates and counts out the correct amount of required parts for each item by performing the following duties safely.
Other Job Duties:
- Locates items according to warehouse locations and descriptions detailed on work order or equivalent documentation
- Safely opens containers, boxes or bags as needed and removes staples, flaps
- Retrieves items from locations using pallet jack, ladder or forklift when necessary
- Carefully pulls component parts from warehouse racking locations making sure not to damage items
- Correctly counts, weighs, and records (scans) number of units of material to be moved
- Physically loads materials into boxes, trays, carts or pallets by hand
- Safely stacks materials onto pallets and secures load
- Continually identifies items and flags location to be replenished
- Attaches specific identifying tags or labels to materials on a pallet
- Places or delivers parts to staging areas for assembly
- Down stocks material to refurbish picking locations
- Keeps work area clean and organized per 5S program standards
- Responsibilities include availability for annual inventory/cycle counts
- Ability to achieve working knowledge of computers, tablets, and scanners
- Ability to read and comprehend procedures documented in English
- Ability to calculate basic math: add, subtract, multiply and divide
- Must be able to work independently and in a team environment efficiently
- Maintains establish routing standards on all assignments
- Maintains flexibility of tasks assignments
- Must have a good attitude and attendance
- All other duties as assigned

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or three to six months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
