The Design Architect is responsible for design and support for project architects for presentation, schematic through complete design solutions in accordance with Hazen design standards. Coordinate with project architects and architectural team for solutions that deliver the design intent in an effective, and efficient manner. Participate in design documentation with other teams to ensure that all building components are fully integrated with one another.
Requirements:
Professional architectural degree from accredited university; 3-5 years minimum broad-based architectural experience, NYS license not required but candidate should desire and progress towards obtaining licensure; experience in Revit and rendering software for presentation drawings required. Proficiency in architectural design; Understanding of building systems, coordination/integration with; structural, MEP; Understanding of building codes, environmental regulations, and sustainability concepts; Understanding of appropriate materials use and methods of construction; Proficient in Adobe illustrator, Photoshop, V-ray, Rendering software, Revit BIM software, AutoCAD and PowerPoint.
