Mid-Level Electrical Engineer
Job Posting for Mid-Level Electrical Engineer at Hazen and Sawyer
- Qualified candidate should have knowledge in industrial power design, including medium and low voltage electrical power distribution, motor control, VFDs, lighting systems, equipment layout and related activities.
- Candidate should have a good working knowledge of the NEC and related Codes.
- Candidate must also have good communication skills, including interaction with clients and contractors.
- Candidate will serve as the lead electrical engineer on projects for water and wastewater facilities. Responsibilities include supervision of less experienced staff working on projects, and interaction with clients and engineers from other disciplines. Prior engineering leadership experience is highly desirable.
- AutoCAD experience is a must, Revit BIM software and SKM and/or ETAP power systems software is desirable.
- Experience with instrumentation and control systems is a plus, including field and panel instruments, operator interfaces, and PLCs.
- Professional Engineering License is required.
- 7-15 years of experience in electrical engineering and design and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering are required.
