Duties
- Responsible for leading and developing Service Operations in the Beaumont/Southwest Louisiana Region.
- Lead Technician in scheduling and servicing HVAC equipment.
- Work closely with sales to establish a solid customer base to build from.
- Develop relationships with vendors and sub-contractors in the market area.
- Lead role in defining the training, materials, and tools needed to support our technician maintenance base.
- Work with dispatch to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to customer.
- Ability to procure new technicians in the market area. Train and develop them into the future leaders in our company.
- Take a leadership role in the development of junior technicians.
- Be available to work some nights or weekends, to service emergency needs of our customers.
- Maintain and repair HVAC, boiler and chiller systems of all types, air and water cooled, for both commercial and industrial customers. Diagnose and repair of electronic, mechanical and electrical components of these systems.
- Maintain good working order of company vehicle including refueling as necessary, reporting any mechanical issues. Vehicles should be washed on a regular basis.
- Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle.
- Identify the needs for systems or tools to effectively do the task in the field.
- Document all equipment installations: make, model, serial number, necessary test measurements, and pictures as necessary.
- Diagnose diverse service issues, obtain any replacement parts, calibrate system to manufacturer’s recommendations, and explain fully to customer what the issue is and what is needed to correct.
- Communicate to dispatch, parts procurement, supervisors and managers, as needed, to keep company and customers informed about work progressions.
- Provide detailed, complete and timely paperwork as required.
- Participate in company provided training opportunities on latest industry technologies
- Identify and report to supervisor/manager potential opportunities for additional business.

Requirements:
Skills
- 10 plus years’ proven record in maintenance, troubleshooting and correcting diverse HVAC, boiler, and chiller service issues.
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail and ability to train junior technicians.
- Excellent customer service skills with desire to exceed customer expectations.
- Ability to work independently in a timely manner, making sure job is done correctly the first time.
- Excellent computer skills , to include proficiency with MS word, excel, outlook and ability to learn the operating systems the company may implement.
- Work with customers as the face of the company to deliver and exceed their expectations.
- Safety focused individual with ability to lead safety stand downs, tool box topics, etc. Other Requirements
- Well groomed, neat appearance
- Valid social security number, driver’s license, clean driving record, must pass background check.
- Excellent driving record.
- Must have the ability to get a TWIC card.
- Must be able to pass drug test(s) as required by company
- Lift up to 50 pounds; be able to push, pull, carry or maneuver heavier items (with additional manpower or appropriate devices); carry ladders; work from heights.
- Observe all company procedures and safety rules.
- Be from the Greater Golden Triangle Region
- Ability to be approved as contractor at Children’s Hospitals.
