Description:
Under the general supervision of the Breast Center Coordinator this position is responsible for obtaining pertinent patient information relating to insurance coverage and registration computer processes. Performs clerical and receptionist duties to include office organization of daily functions, interdepartmental/customer communications, and perform additional functions as needed to create a professional, high quality patient care environment. Schedules patients for follow up exam or additional exams. Coordinates invasive procedures with surgeons offices to insure completeness of patients prior to the procedures.
- High School Graduate or equivalent.
- Minimum two-years registration and insurance verification. Diagnostic imaging clerical experience strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with medical terminology
