Job Summary and Qualifications
The Manager-PT/OT/ST is responsible for planning, organizing, staffing and directing functions to ensure the effective operation of the unit. In cooperation with the leadership team, the Manager will be instrumental in developing plans, policies and procedures to efficiently provide quality care. What you will do in this role:
The manager assists the director with day-to-day clinical operations of the Physical Medicine Department while also remaining involved in direct patient care.
He/she ensures that patient care is provided according to policies and procedures that guide and support the provision of services.
The manager is responsible for staffing a sufficient number of qualified and competent persons to provide care/service and assures the qualifications and competence of those staff members meet the needs of patient care services.
The manager provides orientation, in-service training, and continuing education of all persons in their department(s).
The manager continuously assesses and improves their department’s performance and maintains appropriate quality control programs.
The manager will be responsible for the oversight of the clinical documentation process and compliance with regulations and standards.
The manager provides input to the director regarding space/equipment recommendations, budgetary needs, and other resources needed by the department.
What qualifications you will need:
Bachelor of Science in rehab related field.
Current Georgia PT or OT Licensure; BLS required upon hire (AHA or Red Cross) or within30daysof hire.
Experience: 3 years clinical experience in rehabilitation field
