As a Credentialing Team Lead, you will assist the Credentialing Manager with the training and supervision of the Credentialing Processing Center (CPC). The Credentialing Team Lead will work closely with personnel to deliver quality work and seek direction on issues resolution. Serving in this capacity, this individual must demonstrate strong commitment to stakeholder relationships by taking ownership of issues and facilitation effective outcomes in a timely manner.
What you will do in this role:
Provide introductory and ongoing training and education to staff to ensure that policies and procedures are followed
Meet with the Manager regularly to effectively communicate and resolve issues, set and prioritize goals, and improve processes
Assist with staff communication, providing updates, resolving issues, setting goals, and maintaining standards
Handle difficult customer follow up problems
Retrieve and review performance reports
Assures that all provider credentialing is timely and accurate for all customers
Maintain established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, and customer service policies
Assist Manager with development and implementation of CPC project action plans
Practice and adhere to the “Code of Conduct” philosophy and “Mission and Value Statement”
Qualifications
EDUCATION
Associate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Bachelor Degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE
At least 1 year of related experience required
Prior supervisory experience preferred.
