Job Summary and Qualifications
Emergency room nursing is unpredictable, and you can never be exactly sure what youre dealing with, even if EMS has called ahead to give a briefing. Cases in the ER can change quickly, and its important for nurses to be ready to move or change responsibilities at a moments notice. ER nurses must be able to react quickly to the patient and directions from the doctor. We are currently looking for an ambitious Emergency Department Registered Nurse to help bring our patient care to the next level.

- Your role preforms delegated duties consistent with his/her scope of practice and functions within the philosophy and overall plan of care delivery
Qualifications for being an Emergency Room Registered Nurse:
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing; BSN desirable
- Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Colorado or current RN compact license from another state for the 1st 180 days of employment
- 1 to 2 years acute care/specialty nursing desired.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Emergency Nurse Pediatric Cour must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date
- PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date
- Registered Nurse
- Registered Nurse Diploma
